Michael A. Hildreth is a pastoral counselor, teacher, and writer. He operates Ranger Christian Counseling, a church ministry based in Abilene, TX, USA. He is the author of the book, The Biblical Companion to Nonviolent Communication.

Michael is a Professional Clinical Member of the National Christian Counselors Association. He is also a certified member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling.

Michael is a graduate of Colorado Theological Seminary, the Philippine Bible College and Brown Trail School of Preaching. For over eighteen years, he has been involved in local church outreach, foreign missions, and disaster relief work. He has a passion for ministering to the hearts of hurting people.

Michael lives in Texas with his loving wife, Myla, and their four precious children.
